The Advent Giving Tree is a project sponsored by Our Lady’s Charity and Justice Committee to collect and distribute gifts to the needy in Portage County. Your gifts are distributed through the Volunteers of America in Aurora, the Center of Hope in Ravenna, the “Hot Meals” program in Kent and Safer Futures in Kent.
We plan to fulfill the wish of every child or adult with a gift. Please note that not all requested items on each tag must be purchased. These are suggested guidelines, please do not spend more than $30 on the gift. Gifts must be returned with the identifying tag securely attached on or before Sunday, December 6, 2015.
The gifts will be sorted for distribution during the afternoon of the 6th. We welcome any help with this project too!
