The LUTHERAN-CATHOLIC COVENANT COMMISSION invites you to an Ecumenical Evening Prayer celebrating the Lutheran Catholic Covenant, Sunday, April 3, 2022, 6:00pm at St. Columba Cathedral, Youngstown.
Bishop David Bonnar (Roman Catholic Diocese of Youngstown) will preside and Bishop Laura Barbins (Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) will preach at this prayerful recommitment to the Covenant between our two bodies.
The Covenant signed October 29, 2000, between Catholic Bishop Thomas Tobin and Lutheran Bishop Marcus Miller confesses the faith shared by Lutherans and Catholics and dedicates them to prayer, study, and action for Christian unity.
