LIFE TEEN Service Retreat

We're so happy to be bringing back a great SERVICE RETREAT with a new LIFE TEEN twist this Summer:

July 14-16 (Mon 9am-Wed 6pm)


The LIFE TEEN SERVICE RETREAT will combine daily service in & around our church & community + retreat time in the evening. We will also have after-hours fun (campfires, movies, hikes...) ending with a sleepover in the Our Lady Parish Hall on Monday & Tuesday. 


Daily Plan:

+ Breakfast (8am)

+ Service (10am-2:30pm)

+*Clean-Up (Go home & shower: 3pm-4:30pm)*

+ Dinner Prep (5-6pm)

+ Dinner (6pm)

+ Retreat (7-10pm)

+ Free Time (10pm-12am: Movies/Campfires/Games/Karaoke)

+ Sleep (12am-morning)

(Repeat)


On the last day (Wednesday) - we will end service earlier and go canoeing at Camp-Hi in Hiram.


*School Service Hours fulfilled by this event.

*Retreat is open to any high schooler (including incoming Freshmen).

*Even if you can only come to the Service or Retreat parts - come!

*Overnight at the church is optional (- but you'll want to!)

Life Teen strongly supports & promotes all Catholic religious vocations.

Number of all seminarians in the world who have come from parishes implementing Life Teen.

Life Teen creates a weekly, dynamic event in a youth-friendly environment on Mondays from 7pm-8:15pm (during the school year) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.

Life Teen is centered around the Mass, the Eucharist, Catholic teaching, and dedicated to Mary, the Mother of God.

Life Teen has existed for nearly four decades and we are excited to be a part of the movement of the Holy Spirit here in Portage North!

With all of the challenges in this world, your teen is trying to find their place.

Teens need to be encouraged to come, especially as they face the question of "Why should I remain Catholic" at 2 critical points in their life:

1. From Grade School to High School

2. From High School to College

Life Teen gives your teen a place to ask questions during this time, explore the Catholic Faith, and truly encounter Christ.

Encourage your teen to come and be part of Life Teen Portage North Events every Monday from 7pm-8:15pm throughout the school year.
