Traditionally, Holy Thursday is the day to collect Rice Bowls which have been used throughout Lent. Liturgically, Lent
ends on Holy Thursday evening and the Triduum begins.The money saved by eating less in solidarity with those who have less during Lent are now collected so Catholic Relief Service can distribute the funds to people throughout the world.
