ADVENT GIVING TREE This Charity & Justice Committee project col-lects and distributes gifts to the needy in Portage County via the Volunteers of America in Aurora, the Center of Hope in Ravenna, the “Hot Meals” program in Kent and Safer Futures in Kent.This year, due to the pandemic, we are onlyrequesting Walmart gift cards in the amounts of $10 and $20. No need to pick an Angel tag first. Gift cards will be accepted the weekends of November 14-15 to November 28-29. The collection box is located next to the Giving Tree in the Narthex. You may also drop them off in the parish office or mail them (Attention-K. Sloe -Giving Tree). Please make checks payable to ‘Our Lady of Perpetual Help’ indi-cating “Giving Tree” in the memo section and on the enve-lope too. When you bring your gift card or check to Our Lady, please take a 2020 Angel tag. Take it home to decorate your own Christmas tree, as a reminder of your kindness and stewardship.
