Charity & Justice Committee has project to collect and distribute gifts to the needy in Portage County. The gifts are distributed through the Volunteers of America in Aurora, the Center of Hope in Ravenna, the “Hot Meals” program in Kent, Safer Futures in Kent and The Haven, (a homeless shelter) in Ravenna.
The tree will be displayed and collections will be accepted the weekends of November 19-20 through December 3-4.
This year, we are again requesting Walmart and Target gift cards in the amounts of $10 and $20. PLEASE MARK THE GIFT CARD AMOUNT ON THE CARD.
