Welcome below, (or copying it into your web browser) you will be connected to a website with historical and legendary explanations and descriptions of the many symbol used in iconographic art. http://www.marys-touch.com/history/olhelp.ht *Mass Intentions* A specific intention may be requested for remembrance at Mass by requesting a Mass at an unspecified time or by reserving a particular date previously scheduled. This can be done in one of two ways: *Visit the Parish Office Monday through Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. *Call in to reserve a date not scheduled. This Mass time will be held for a maximum of 48 hours without receipt of a stipend. Anyone who requests that same Mass time after the 48 hour hold, will be allowed that specific Mass. The normal stipend for a Mass is $10. A stipend is defined as an amount offered to defray expenses and is not considered a payment for a purchase. A card is available at the time the Mass is scheduled to give to the person/family for whom the Mass is offered. Fr. Daprile’s day off work will normally be Thursday and thus Mass Intentions not scheduled for that day. When Fr. Daprile is celebrating a Mass at a Nursing Home instead of in our church, a Mass Intention can be reserved. Each weekend, one Mass will be offered specifically for the intentions of the parishioners of OLPH. Should something occur when a Mass Intention is scheduled, such as a funeral, that Mass will be moved to another time within approximately two weeks and the person offering the Mass will be notified.
